This was my first deep dive into mindfulness after my sleep therapist recommended this book to help me sleep better when I wake up in the middle of the night.
I struggled with putting "mindfulness" into words. This book "Falling Awake" taught me mindfulness exercises, such as focusing on sound, touch, breathing, or taste. I used this book to create my own mindfulness meditation retreat. I have read the book three times because it contains many instructions. I struggled with memorizing it and wished I had a way to put each thing into action.
The book's impact on me 5 out of 5 because it provided a lot of new information. I am comfortable revisiting this book to review and act on the information.
Another book I loved about mindfulness was Ruby Wax's guide, "A Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled Mind."ok on Mr a 4 on 5 because it helps me make informed decisions for my family.
