*spoiler alert * liked the book overall but the big challenge in reusing their methodology is that they have no clarity in how they hire "rockstars" / great performers.
compared to this book, amazon's culture as described in "working backwards" emphasizes the "how" of hiring talent they consider great / talent that will work great for amazon.
candor + keeping only top + paying a lot of cash + autonomy etc. can all work but they kept saying that hiring great performers is very important (I suppose also being able to evaluate great performers when in company is also just as important)
wish that was covered better.
