Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don't Have All the Facts

Book Review: 5/5 Impact On Me (Book By Annie Duke)

I thoroughly enjoyed "Thinking in Bets." Firstly, its exploration of probability was exceptional, drawing an insightful connection to "Superforecasters," another remarkable book. By emphasizing the concept of thinking in probabilities rather than in absolute terms of black and white, it illuminates the idea that an event with a 20% likelihood can still occur without invalidating the accuracy of that estimation. The book frequently employs poker analogies and examples, yet, even with my limited understanding of poker, I found it accessible and engaging. Having read it twice already, I am eager to dive into it once more.
