I used to dislike sales and prospecting for consulting. Reading this book helped me realize everyone is always selling something. It's not always about money. Sometimes, I want someone's attention. Other times, I want to persuade them. This could be convincing my spouse to choose a particular restaurant. Or, it could be talking my boss into letting me take a day off.
