Q: What is the impact of the school's alumni network on opportunities or community?

18/24 parents did not have comments about the impact of school alumni networks. This suggests that parents do not consider this aspect a critical factor in school choice or perceive it as influential for future.

4/24 Parents had these thoughts on school’s alumni network and community:

Quality of Education: 1/4 parent mentioned evaluating the quality of the school not by its alumni network but by the quality of teaching, child treatment, and the student-teacher ratio.

  • "Judges the school's quality by how the children are treated, the quality of teaching, and the student-teacher ratio. Believes facilities are less important, considering Kid1's age."

Positive Influence of Alumni Networks - 3/4 parents noted a positive influence of alumni networks. They pointed out that these networks can foster strong, lifelong connections and potentially beneficial networks.

  • "Blackrock College alumni are tight-knit. Father's closest friends are all from there."

  • "School alumni networks have not influenced mom's healthcare career, though she acknowledges their existence in private education, citing her brother's experience with an all-boys school network."

  • “Believes that being part of a good alumni network can be beneficial. Father has seen Blackrock college alumni climb up the ranks in banking faster than him.”
